The Murcia Hotels and Tourist Accommodation Association and ASSIDO DESIGN have joined forces to promote a more inclusive form of tourism with a lasting social impact.
This partnership celebrates the talent of artists with intellectual disabilities while reinforcing the tourism sector’s commitment to inclusion, sustainability and social responsibility.
As part of this collaboration, the Murcia Hotels and Tourist Accommodation Association and ASSIDO signed an agreement to develop joint initiatives that contribute to a more inclusive, sustainable and socially responsible tourism model.
The project began with the creativity of the artists from ASSIDO’s Creative Arts Studio, who produced a collection of original illustrations inspired by the collaboration. One of these designs was selected to be transformed into an exclusive towel, bringing together art, inclusive design and everyday functionality in a product that reflects the values shared by both organisations.
The result of this collaboration is an exclusive towel featuring an artistic interpretation of the Murcia skyline, with the silhouette of a hotel taking centre stage as a symbol of hospitality and welcome.
More than an everyday object, the towel transforms the creativity of ASSIDO DESIGN artists into a meaningful design piece, demonstrating how design can become a powerful tool for promoting inclusion and celebrating talent in all its forms.
