OUR
STORY
32 years ago, we began offering creative workshops in the field of visual arts to all ASSIDO users. We soon realised that some of them stood out for their great artistic ability. For this reason, we created ASSIDO’s Diverse Artistic Collective, InOut.
The collective is made up of more than 30 adults. Every day, they devote much of their time to creating their own work. Each of them has already developed their own personal artistic project, with their own style. They are ARTISTS who hold temporary exhibitions where they sell their work, with great success, to companies and individuals.
ASSIDO.DESIGN is the natural evolution of this journey. A brand with a radically inclusive approach, which transfers the works of the InOut collective onto everyday objects and allows other brands to acquire the rights to use these creations and incorporate them into their own products.
WHY CHOOSE US?
At ASSIDO.DESIGN we promote equal opportunities in artistic creation, an area that has historically been closed off to people with intellectual disabilities. Even today, prejudices persist that limit recognition of their creative talent.
In fact, in today’s society in general, and in the world of avant-garde art in particular, there are still those who believe that a person with an intellectual disability cannot be an artist. And this contributes to a lack of awareness of these artists’ creativity.
For this reason, through ASSIDO.DESIGN, we aim to make these creators visible. For years, the works of artists with Down’s syndrome and other intellectual disabilities at ASSIDO have been making their way into venues, galleries, architectural spaces and streets to show the world the talent of diversity. Now we are taking a step forward to bring that talent into every detail of your daily life.
In addition, we promote the employment integration of people with intellectual disabilities through a radically inclusive production model, in which they actively participate in the design, production, packaging and handling processes for the products.
We are committed to a RADICALLY INCLUSIVE production model. ASSIDO.DESIGN helps generate employment for people with intellectual disabilities. They take part in activities such as the design, production, packaging and handling of the brand’s products.
