Carlos Martínez is an artist at ASSIDO, the Association for People with Down Syndrome and Intellectual Disabilities in Murcia, Spain, where he has found in the visual arts a natural space for creativity, self-expression and personal growth.

Throughout his artistic journey, Carlos has participated in a variety of exhibitions, sharing creative spaces with fellow artists, including José David, also known as Nanana. Carlos’s work is also part of ASSIDO DESIGN, an inclusive design initiative that transforms original artworks by artists with intellectual disabilities into beautifully crafted homeware and lifestyle products. Through this project, his distinctive visual language reaches new audiences, becoming ethical design objects that celebrate creativity, inclusion and the value of diverse artistic voices.
